Who am I ?I am a first-year PhD student in the department of Astronomy and Physics in Saint Mary's University. I work with Prof. Marcin Sawicki on CLAUDS project (on CFHT telescope) that we are a part of. I received my B.Sc. Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2017.
The current project that I am working on is a galaxy environment study. We looked at satellite galaxy populations in our data and investigated their radial number density profiles. Click here for more. My research interests lie in galaxy evolution, although I am quite open about other topics. In terms of observational tools, I am interested in doing multiwavelength observations and using machine learning methods to dig in massive datasets. Outside of research, I am also a huge fan for star-gazing since I was about 12 and led the astronomy society in SJTU in 2014 - 2015. This experience is the part of the motivation for me to pursue a professional career in astronomy and astrophysics. See MISC page for more. My Work
