Who am I?
I am a senior undergraduate student in the department of Physics and Astronomy. I will receive B.S. Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2017.
Since my sophomore year, I have been a research assistant, supervised by Prof. Sébastian Foucaud and then Dr. Chengze Liu, in Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics, SJTU. My current research interests lie in galaxy evolution, although I am quite open about other topics such as exoplanets, extra-galactic medium and cosmology.
I am also a huge fan for star-gazing since middle school and actually led the astronomy society in SJTU in 2014 and first half of 2015. I have to say this is the main motivation for me to pursue a professional career in astronomy and astrophysics. See MISC page for more.
I focus mainly on observational astronomy in local volume. Recently I've been using data from Next Generation Virgo cluster Survey (NGVS). The project I am currently working on is about globular clusters (GCs) richness in nucleated dwarf clusters (dE,Ns) in the Virgo cluster. In November, I started another project about the GCs around the ultra compact dwarfs (UCDs) in Virgo Cluster and may constrain their formation channel when the project is finished. See My Work page for more.
